  • Why We Vote

Voting is the tool that we use to ensure our voices are heard and needs are met by our elected officials. People who vote find their needs best met by our local, state, and federal governments.

Explore our fact sheet describing some of the elected offices in our state that are on the ballot in 2023 and an explanation on how they matter to you and your relatives.

For more information about offices on the ballot and how to participate in your local elections, visit the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State website.

  • Spread the Word: Social Media Toolkit

We've partnered with Native organizers, community members, and digital and mixed media artists to create messages and content that focuses on issues that our communities are facing. With this work, we aim to mobilize our people towards a common call-to-action to vote in this year’s midterm election.

The toolkit includes social graphics, videos, hashtags and sample post copy.

  • A project of NACDI, Make Voting A Tradition is a culturally specific, peer-to-peer, multi-generational program to increase voter turnout and civic engagement. To volunteer or learn more, please contact voting@nacdi.org.
