Sculpture Unveiling

Join us Friday, October 22nd, at 10:00am for the unveiling of a brand new sculpture in the American Indian Cultural Corridor at 15th Avenue and East Franklin Avenue in Minneapolis! Be the first to see renowned artist Gordon F. Van Wert’s (Red Lake Nation) latest sculpture, “The Fourth Sister” - a six foot limestone sculpture with quartz inlay. The piece is Van Wert’s interpretation of the story of manoomin (wild rice) and the Ojibwe. Bring your family and friends to the unveiling and see the future home of All My Relations Gallery and NACDI. Come celebrate community, meet the artist and enjoy some coffee and rolls. There will also be a wild rice drawing sponsored by Northland Visions!
This installation is a project of the American Indian Cultural Corridor’s public art initiative, sponsored by All My Relations Arts of NACDI.
