NACDI & AICDC Purchase Building

The Native American Community Development Institute (NACDI) and the American Indian Community Development Corporation (AICDC) have co-purchased a building on Franklin Avenue in the American Indian Cultural Corridor.  This purchase expands native property ownership in the Cultural Corridor and will develop a new destination on the Corridor.  This purchase is a model for organizational partnership, and shows the enormous potential of collaboration among native organizations.  All of the financing for the project came from native organizations and lenders.

The building will house the new All My Relations Arts gallery on the first floor, returning this important community resource and gathering place back to the Avenue.  In addition both NACDI and AICDC offices will move into the building.

The building formerly housed Open Arms of Minnesota, who just moved in to a new building on Bloomington Avenue.
