American Indian Community Development Symposium
The Native American Community Development Institute's (NACDI), American Indian Community Development Symposium: "A Down Payment On Our Future," held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Center for Changing Lives, was a great success! NACDI is committed to putting the community back into community back into community development!
The half-day symposium was attended by more than 60 community leaders, entrepreneurs, elders, community organizers, business owners, organizational directors and board members. Symposium participants spent the morning exploring the roles of community members and American Indian organizations in the development of a community-based vision for the future.
We would like to forward our deepest appreciation and gratitude to all those that attended and participated in the American Indian Community Development Symposium and made it such a successful event. A special thanks to all of the inspiring presenters and speakers.
